Fishing Cass Lake
Cass Lake is a fisherman's paradise!
Walleye over 10 pounds and Muskie over 35 pounds are caught in Cass Lake's waters each season. The Cass Lake Chain of Lakes is located in the heart of the Chippewa National Forest. It is the largest of 8 lakes on the chain that are linked by the Mississippi River. The lake's 15,596 acres and almost 27 miles of shoreline provide great habitat for Walleye, Northern Pike, Perch, Bass, Muskie, Bluegills, Sunfish, and Pumpkinseeds. Cass Lake has a unique structure of steep drop-offs, sand bars, weed beds, and sunken islands that create amazing fishing opportunities for everyone. Whether you're fishing for a boat load of Perch or the Muskie of your dreams, Cass Lake offers everything needed to fulfill your fishing vacation. There are more lakes in the Cass Lake area than an angler could fish during one vacation and the quality and quantity of fishing opportunities are world class!
